On the afternoon of July 28, the Organizing Committee of the 31st China (Guangzhou) International Health Industry Expo (hereinafter referred to as the Health Expo) held a project promotion meeting in the International Conference Hall of Guangdong building, at which the "special report on the future development of the health industry in the post epidemic period" was published. Liao Xinbo, former deputy director of Guangdong Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission, said in a keynote speech entitled "smart elderly care leads the future". In the post epidemic period, under the influence of various policies, China's rehabilitation medicine will have five development trends.
First, community rehabilitation needs to be developed urgently. At present, only 16.7% of patients with rehabilitation needs can get rehabilitation services. It is estimated that by 2030, the prevalence of chronic diseases in China will be as high as 65.7%, of which 80% of patients with chronic diseases need rehabilitation treatment.
Second, intelligent rehabilitation shows its advantages. Intelligent technology makes aging, diseases younger, single family and lack of professionals, giving birth to the intelligent rehabilitation market.
Third, the high-end rehabilitation market has a broad capacity. The change of consumption concept of 200 million middle and high-income people and the development of health insurance have boosted the differentiation of consumption levels, which have greatly expanded this market.
Fourth, remote rehabilitation is the general trend. Remote rehabilitation can overcome the pain points such as the lack of talents, technology and equipment in the development of rehabilitation departments and the imbalance of regional development.
Fifth, clinical medicine drives the development of rehabilitation. The state is establishing a perfect three-level rehabilitation medical system, promoting the two-way referral system and boosting the take-off of rehabilitation medical treatment.

Zhang Yong, President of Guangdong Institute of modern health industry, made the keynote report of the conference and analyzed the overall development trend of China's great health industry from three aspects: policy, capital and market.
In terms of policies, medical reform has entered the "new normal", which generally promotes the transformation of the industry from barbaric and extensive growth in the past to focusing on quality and efficiency. There is more space for pharmaceutical innovation in the big health industry under supervision, and the life cycle management of medical products will be strengthened.
In terms of capital, the concentration of medical resources in state-owned hospitals has changed, and private capital has been given full play. The focus of private capital is to focus on various customer experience problems in the diagnosis and treatment process of class III first-class hospitals, including the impact on the quality of medical service after the medical reform.
In terms of market, under the epidemic situation, vaccines, medical devices and other major health products related to the epidemic situation have ushered in a good opportunity for development.
