On January 11, 2020, the energy investment committee jointly launched the zero carbon China initiative with more than 50 industry organizations, aiming to promote energy transformation and clean energy development with zero carbon as the guide and green investment as the means, On September 22 last year, General Secretary Xi proposed the 30.60 goal of carbon peak and carbon neutralization, which strengthened the determination of the energy investment commission to promote the work related to "zero carbon China". He also said that energy transformation is the only way for sustainable development. Finally, chairman Shi Dinghuan spoke highly of the effectiveness of the work of the United Nations Global Compact organization and believed that the zero carbon China Initiative was in perfect agreement with the development goals of the United Nations Global Compact organization. At present, many work contents of the Energy Investment Commission under the "zero carbon China" initiative were consistent with the sustainable development direction of the United Nations Global Compact organization. President Shi Dinghuan said that one belt, one road, could be used in the field of standards formulation, industry research, development planning, market development, overseas training, green finance and so on.
